Forgive me. I hit the wrong, button... three times. ^^; It was accidentaly, and whoever has the controle over this thing, is free to deleat the extra repeats. I appologes for the rudeness.

Anyways, as I was saying:

2) "Pale yellow, wanting something clear, Pale yellow, daunting task cannot be that near Forever leering, forever dashing, Forever looking to peers, Forever hollow, that's worse than yellow, This is the color of tears, This is the color of tears...Running scared, Running scared"

In this part, the singer describes her confusion with her situation, and also her denial that somthing needs to be done about it. We all have felt this way at some point, had a desire for clarity and simplisity in a situation that requires a difficult action. This is empisized when the song goes on, now nolonger describing the singer but someone else, the boyfriend intrest maybe? I assume so. In it, he is described as a shallow man, always looking to his friends and rude, although still considered dashing, possibly why she denies denies the need for change so much, athough she does consider him to be worst than a coward, than yellow. And she cries about it as she flees from the issue, as we all do in a distressing situation.

3) "Pale yellow holding on, Brace myself to stand, Tell myself it is okay, Taking my own hand"

In this small stanza, a big thing is taking place. Pale yellow, or how the girl is refering to herself, has found the steanth to act, bracing herself, and holding on, having finally found reasureance and courage in herself. Finally able to be on her own.

4) "Forever peering into the water, Returning back to the sea, Under the sea foam, Where I have come from, Breathing freely"

In this part, the girl is returning back to 'single life' or the sea as it is oftain discribed considering the phrase, "there are plenty fish in the sea." The second line remarks that the girl feals relief after an oppressive relationship, able to 'breath freely'.

5) "Forever yellow, forever yellow..."

This last line comments that the girl recognises that she is still afraid of commitment to a relationship, and believe that she will always be just like her hair is.

There you go, that is my best interperitation of the song. I love this song, it has such a lovely little melody and harmony that i cannot help but sing along. Its simple, but powerfull at the same time.

I hope that answeres any questions... sorry about the mess with the multi-posting, my hand slipped. ^.^; If you have anyquestions about my interperitation, go ahead and ream me. I am not perfect, and probably deserve it. Ha ha, anyways. yeah, there ya go.
