I find it amusing that about half of you are completely disgusted and offended by the ending of the song. Lighten up. Yes, I almost gagged too when I started listening to what she was saying the first time, but it does serve a point. Generally, writers don't go out of their way to do something so off-putting without a reason.... unless they base their music around shocking material (ramstein, most of hip hop, etc) but in this case, it's there for a reason.
Really, this whole song is about religion and self righteousness. The song mentions how belief in the one true power (any religion) is really just belief in the "ego self", or belief that you're superior or that you want to be superior. The song refers to the aloof tone many religious types have, as well as their aloof attitude (holier than thou) that many people in religion seem to exude. In the end, this attitude just leads to hypocrisy, insulting others in an almost horrifically vulgar manner, while being ridiculously vulgar yourself, as seen by the very, very indignant, ignorant, vulgar, yet oddly prudish tone the outro takes. One obvious real-world example would be the whole gay-marriage argument. Though not every religious person is against it, the vocal uber-conservitives often talk about it in a very, very vulgar, offensive, and disgusting manner, all the while still thinking that they're better than what they're talking about.
The opening likely refers to how people won't listen to the point of the song. You're just going to listen, let the tape roll because you like the song, even though you don't like what the song says at the end; just ignore the message, listen to the song, and let the tape roll.
