This, "Heart Songs", and "The Greatest Man That Ever Lived" are prolly my favorite Weezer songs, with "My Name is Jonas" close behind. I guess my interpretation is that his girlfriend is sort of cruel in a sense. She swears at him and just acts cruelly "There's no need for the cussin'. There's no use for ball bustin'". He calls her on it when she blatantly lies to him. He's just saying that it's not hard to be a nice person. I 'unno. Just a thought.
Anyway, it's very catchy. Then again, almost all of Weezer's songs are great imo. Never did get into the Undone Sweater Song.
