Kereerar said it well, I think. I definitely agree that Sarah is this older, stronger girl that at the very least pretends not to give a shit about anything. The narrator wants to be like her so she can stop feeling the pain of life and love. It's both sad and appealing the idea of not being able to feel anything.
I also love the story book aspect of the album! Looks like the new one's gonna be similar what with Daniel and all...
