I'm pretty sure it says "you took the car around another bend" so basically whoever posted the lyrics from the cd booklet is right. I absoulutely love the little bass line after "calling us home" and "lead us along" its so amazing!

My interpretation; the part after "think it through" sounds more like cord or card to me rather than car...
