This song just strikes a chord with me. Every line says something very powerful.

This song is talking to all those people who think that they have found some better, more enlightened way to live. He talks about the people who think that money is pointless and scoff at those who seek it at all. The thing is that at least for the author, he needs money in order to fulfill his basic needs that everyone has no matter what. He doesn't say that everyone else needs money, but that for him that is the only way he knows to fulfill those needs.

It's a little "fuck you" to the establishment of one's ideals as superior than another. It's a very honest song. I know a lot of vegetarians affected by the line about red meat. I know a lot of anti-capitalists affected by the line about money.

I don't think anti-capitalists should be so affected by the bits about money, the way I see it, the final line of the song is exactly what anti-capitalism is about, and I think most anti-capitalists would have to agree with the very basic idea of the song, or be at least somewhat hypocritical.

I'm a vegetarian, and I especially love that stanza.

"and i wanna eat red, red meat i want to feel it digesting inside of my tummy i support animal testing i'd kill a kitten to save a human being"

It's just so honest. What else can you ask for? fucking great song.
