Like Rush5 said, the song really is about not conforming for other people and being your own person, not picking friends that will change your life in a bad way. But i would agree with you it's kinda sad that they have fallen so far away but they r def in my prayers! You should check out their song Lonely Road. It kinda talks about God and how to do things right you have to walk alone!
