All of his songs are amazing but this one has to be one of
his more powerful ones. I think you're both right, it's
clearly about abortion. Without going so deep, basically the
guy and girl hook up and he just leaves, leaving her alone
not knowing what the future will bring, but he isn't going
to be there as he doesn't truly care for her;
every spoken word broken
as he flipped you a token
kiss on the cheek as his feet found the open door
what's in store for you he didn't question
shook his burden to the floor to leave you guessing
about the future and what it will unfold
