now she's lonely and trying to remember why she traded a good, comfortable relationship for the unknown.
she has probably broken up with the guy more than once, and went back to him because she was lonely, but every time she goes back she gets restless again.
she's frustrated because she still hasn't found the "magic she was looking for". probably the purpose of the break up
should she get back with him? clearly, she is miserable without him. Or should she be patient and have faith that she will find the magic she was looking for? Or was the magic there all along? and who is betty glory?

(also: i really wish they didn't use the word butterflies in this song. reminds me of something natasha bedingfield would say. this song is better than that.)
