wow i love how everyone on here is talking about everything BUT the meaning of this song. if you want to talk about what the lyrics are instead of what they mean, go somewhere else.
to me, this song is about a guy who is remembering a past relationship he had, times they shared together, and obviously the dreams he is having about her. he obviously still wants her when he says, "And please don't tell me that I'm dreaming." he still can't bear the thought of being away from the girls he loves, which is definitely something i can relate to. when jason says, "Sunsets never were so bright/ And the skies never so blue." i think he's saying that things were so much better when he was with her and life itself seemed so much beautiful when she was in his life. an amazing song by mp and probably my favorite one by them.
