I think this was Manson's way of attacking those who blame him for all the problems in the world. He states he's just "pitiful anonymous" who's merely standing on the outside, commenting on what he sees. It's not his fault people finally opened their eyes to the fallacies of their society: The youth, "the target audience," being told the "old deceiver's song," and the said audience being expected to conform to that belief.
