Because of it's spokyness I think she is referring to contacting the ancestors. It seems to be as if she is very spiritual and may be into magick and shamanism (since she refers to voudoo in earh intruders in making the world a better place) and whenever u go to speak to the Gods/Anscestors or spirits you need a shield of protection and its is a dangerous task. She also could jus tbe referring to everyday life dealing with doubter and unbelievers, whenever dealign with those low frequency type of thinkers...its always dangerous!

Most of the times the doubters and unbelievers engage in deep meditations (most of the time philosophical) regarding the human condition, since they do not consider ridiculously primitive and religious beliefs that give them the answers right away as being valid, so they have to search for them themselves.
