Hard times. My life's story. Not quite how it's explained in the song but, I can relate. Not like those fake people who seem to wish they knew what hard times were like. When I say fake, I mean just act like the person you really are. Don't try to be something/someone that you are not. It's pointless. Clothes, money, really any material things don't make you who you are, it's what you go through in life and how you treat people. Many lost souls out there. This, to me is a shout out to realization, hope, and corrupt minds/politicians/average selfish greedy peole.
