I think there's a lot of hurt hidden by apathy here, he doesn't want to hear the keys in the lock or for her to stay any longer than necessary. I hear "But don't hurry - speed." As in speed instead of hurry, emphasizing that he wants her to get the hell out of there before he weakens again.
Last line is just a good description of some old fashioned beach sex.
Anyone else notice how there are two songs on this EP where babys and sex are correlated? I read somewhere that Blood Bank was about an unwanted pregnancy...be interesting to know if there is any truth to that.
