I feel like it's talking about how in life, we don't really have a good life, until we have some kind of love in it, no matter in what form.

i think it talks about happiness/love in general, we don't look for it, but yet we still hope to find it there by chance, but if we don't speak out, no one will hear and we won't find it.
What gets me though is when it starts saying that no matter what you do, say, feel, etc., you'll never know....
i don't know what that could mean :/
i think it just means that no matter how much you learn about the world and all that is in it and how it "works", you can never really be sure about what will happen in the future.
