I used to be depressed over a lot of shit, like my family's past poverty and the fact that somebody I used to have a crush on didn't feel the same way about me, that I didn't know what to do with myself. I wish I had taken this song's message to heart back then. I realized "You know what, fuck this depression bullshit. Yesterday don't mean shit, I have to push forward to live for tomorrow." Ever since then, I've been consistently in a good mood. I still have my bouts of sadness, but I get over it far better than I used to.
