To me, this seems like a song about love (or lack thereof). Kind of related the "I Am So Mad At You"
The situation I imagine is the narrator has been left by his girlfriend (or possibly left her for no good reason). He still has strong feelings for her so he's asking that she act nefariously in order to justify what happened. In other words, so that he can "rest in peace."
