Arrested, I didn't interpret this as a suicide song at all. I thought it was about the destruction of the planet and how he would miss nature's beauty after it was fully ravaged by mankind. Hence his need for "another world." But I suppose either interpretation is possible. I do agree that this is a beautiful song, one of the best I've ever heard.
