i think this song has absolutely nothing to do with a girl. I think this is a song about some 'friend' of Shaun's who was begging for his help at some point. But Shaun remembered that the friend was never there for him when he needed a friend. When Shaun wanted to die, he was without his friends. When all those other things happened, the friend was never there. So now that the friend is in need, Shaun "doesnt wanna save him anymore", and is just gonna let him fall. what goes around comes around.
