This song is one of my all time favorite songs.
It's incredible.
The power is intense and the lyrics are something I can relate to so much it's unreal.
Every line just touches me so much.
It's definitely about possibly, Satan's hold on a person, as well as that person wanting to control their own life instead of letting God's will take place.
But the chorus is just an outcry of letting go and asking God to take control, and for Him to help in letting go of old ways and mistakes, and helping someone become new again, Reborn.
And the ending
'Its not to late,
to leave it all behind.'
Is wonderful, because of its truth. It doesn't matter if you are a 16 year old with a troubled past or a 60 year old with a hurtful past, because it's never to late to let God take control and for you to love Him and to let His will take place within your life. It's not to late to leave your pain and mistake behind.
I really love this song.
