But, going a little further, I think it's sort of about how mankind is so eager to advance itself that we change everything constantly in the name of advancement, even though it furthers ourselves from nature. "The night owl and I will hunt the contractor," meaning that our change is affecting animals negatively, and they aren't happy with it.
