My take on this song is that the guy and his significant other broke up, whether it be his fault or thier's. The singer tells how he is so alone with out this person in their life and wants to know if they are alone too, like the singer is. The singer tries to show that they should be together because how alone they are without eachother...but thats just my opinion, but this is a great song by the starting line
