I feel this song is about the war.

"Let's watch this city burn from the skylines on top of the world. Let's watch this city burn the world"

What I get from that line is the "city" may be Washington D.C. since that is where the governmental body is and that's where our decisions our made to go to war or "burn the world" And the line about "the skylines on top of the world" might be a reference to how the U.S. tends to regard itself so highly and so much better than other countries. Or also it could be saying how the U.S. is always involved in other countries affairs so we are the "skyline" of the world.

o come on and grab your children Look out for burning buildings And villains, who pillage They kill them by the millions And billions of people die For a lost cause So now I pray to my nation That's destroyed under God (It's the end of the world) All my battles have been won But the war has just begun

This verse seems to reiterate the war theme. The lines "So now I pray to my nation That's destroyed under God" could possibly be a hint of another World War

"All my battles have been won but the war has just begun" Could be talking about how our "war on terror" is finished but just in time for other countries to attack us.

That's may take on it, anyone else agree or have any other ideas or elaborations?
