I really like this song, it's sad and gritty and a bit sultry all at the same time. Love how she shows off her vocal range, 'tis impressive.
I've never thought it could be written from the POV of dead people, though, like muccamonster said. I like the interpretation of flowers growing in winter being flowers on graves, but I think the song as a whole is more like trying to 'drive away' from the hard dreariness of life.
