The artist came from a religious background living with his mother, doing door to door preaching. With this being said, religion was a large part of his thinking at a young age. Anything that pertain to the involved religion is, as you may know, evil. So with carrying out acts of music, hormones, drugs, LIFE....It was a way of showing that as he knew the things he was doing was "evil", it was like a vacation away from the life he was born into and his mother seeded him in. So by saying, my head is in hell on holiday, is saying, "I know this is the evil I hear preached against, but going TO it is like a holiday." It is an escape away. But once that holiday that may have come around evry once in awhile, became habit, Things started spinning out of control, leading to more and more. And what more can stop this, how will it stop other than mans own grave opening up, and he be laid to rest. That is the only true escape.
