I think that this song can be partially explained just by the name of the band. It's about using your brain for whatever it might be to find the answers you need to know. Obviously this probably makes some kind of reference to the government and the economic flaws which exist, but i'd like to think that it's deeper than that. "The Dance of The Dead" are/is the actions that people make who act without question, if we don't use our minds to our full potential and just do things becuase thats the way they are, then we ARE dead.
