I think he's trying to make it sound dirty, but it's not. He's relating being exposed to someone, fearing the failure, to being exposed to the world, through his music, and fearing the failure.
He knows that there's tomorrow, but he also knows it's all about luck, he wants to try and get lucky today rather then wait til tomorrow.
Anyway, it's probably nothing like that at all, but I think it's a great song.
