I agree that this song is amazing. I would just like to comment on the outro. I do believe that the lyrics posted are correct. I think that when he says:

I think that the stream eventually empties into the ocean. I think that he means that we haven't seen the entire picture and what lies ahead. I think that he mean that we have seen so little and think that we know so much and it's not until we reach the ocean that we realize how little have seen, how little we know, and how vast it all is. I think that he uses the bare feet as a symbolic representation of a child at play.
