But never..mind them Shes poison and I am Michael Vivin See I know y'all dont hear me But she does, we does

First just wanted to say that I love this song. Like, it is incredibly sexy in a straight way.

Second, wanted to say that the above lyrics are wrong. Its Michael Bivins. But question: I know that wayne incorporates an insane amount of celebrity references in his songs (especially in Carter III) but i cant find the significance of this one. I know Bivins is a really talented RnB producer but other than that i can't figure it out. I'm especially interested in this because of the following line:

See I know that ya'll dont hear me, but she duz, we (or weed?) duz.

Wayne obviously expected the Bivins line to be minunderstood, so why did he put it in there? That's why i like lil wayne. Obviously he's not a real gangster (he's probly a pussy, pardon the pun) but he's an amazing artist. If anyone can figure this one out, please reply. By the way i just joined songmeanings to write this and it was super easy. They dont even send a confirmatoin email....

Michael Bivins sings that song, it goes, "That girl is POISOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON... Never trust a big butt and smile, that girl is POISOOOOOOOOOOOOOON.." ya know?? So the girl Wayne sings about is comparable to the way Bivins sings about his girl. Their significant others are like "poison" to them.

I just thought Wayne meant: you all don't know what it's like, you wouldn't understand me, but my girl understands, We understand each other, it's like "their" song or more metaphorically "their" feeling, just between them, and other people wouldn't know about it and how intimate or in...

Poison is the album that sold over three million copies. He was a member of the band.
