This song is beautiful and fantastic. I really think he's talking to a girl that broke up with him - he's still in love with her, and she doesn't have time for him. I like your idea too though. The best songs are those that mean a lot in different ways to different people.
i agree pezdel. aint always about finding the artists exact intentions in a song, but giving the artist props for creating a open song that reaches out to many people. yep, pretty much what you said:)
