I think that this song is about a guy who changed himself for a girl, because he must have loved her a whole lot
Yet at the same time this girl has alot of problems and doesn't seem to notice or care
He's caught between how he cant help her, how he hopes that she notices him, and how she is too busy occupied with her own mistakes.
