I'm kind of curious what interpretations of this song are. It seems like it might just be somebody who doesn't want get involved in commitments, or possibly somebody who keeps cheating on somebody. The part I don't get is the chorus "don't fail me now". Is he speaking to himself or the person he is speaking to, because I don't see how the other person would be failing him.
