Every time we put anything before god we commit idolatry. We skip out on church because we stayed up the night before(I've done it too), and even when we sit in church we get impatient, we constantly think about what we are going to do after church be it where we are going to eat or something else entirely, even our prayers are unfocused on God. We don't pray to God. We don't even pray. We close our eyes, bow our heads and continue to think of our daily lives. Children can be noisy, but we shouldn't skip church. Instead we should put God before anything and should have Him in everything we do.
