I never saw it Vicious 09's way before, actually. Never thought it was about unrequited love or friendship. But that's interesting.
I'd have to say it's either that or simply a love song. I you wanted just one sentence to sum up most of the whole song, I'd say it goes like:
You matter more than all the matter of the earth.
But "You've seen the difference, and it's getting better all the time" does sound like what Vicious 09 was talking about. Not sure. But this song is proof that Bowling For Soup can rock the shit out on kazoos!
