I think you guys have it backwards. It's not about the commercialization of religion, it's about the religion that IS commercialization. Think about it. Jonas Brothers. Hannah Montana. It's like an obsession. The Beatles were close to being greater than god, but all sorts of suckish people like the previously mentioned Disney sellouts ARE more popular than god. perhaps that's why today sucks.
