I really think this is just the woman's last straw. I don't think that she's really taking advantage of him, necessarily. Sounds like she's been trying, but she's had to fake it, and not hiding it well. Hence she's a "bad actress". She's to blame for the end of the relationship, but it's not like she is completely a bad guy.
