Honestly,I think the solo at the end is better than "Free Bird."It may sound alike and that may have been what they were trying to duplicate.But some of the best solos out there are either songs or by bands that are more obscure than their mainstream contemporaries.For example,Saxon,who sound like a poor man's Deep Purple.Listen to the song "Wheels of Steel."That's also an awesome song.Highway Song is just one of those songs that you get in your car and hit the highway and once that solo hits you're doing 90 without even realizing it.
