To me this song is about a couple of things. New love or young love, and the feelings and inexperience that go with it. Knowing how you feel about the other person, but being insecure and unsure of how they feel about you ("if youre feeling the same way let me know" & "Ive never been a victim of love before"). And the second obviously being the other person is not fully committed to the relationship. She wants to know if its true that there is someone else, she recognizes all the signs that go along with that, she also wants to know if he's committed emotionally if he feels the same way she does or if he's just telling her what she wants to hear. Its a great song, this and Warm It Up are my favorite off the album Human.
