The mislabeled MP3 that most people download as the MFATGG cover is actually done by a band called "Shades Apart" and I think it's on the "Cinema: Beer Nuts:" compilation from Hopeless Records. The original song was by Gloria Jones, in the 1960s. Later, in the 1980's. Soft Cell's cover popularized the song, and is probably the most well-known version.
