Before the day we'll never know" - no one knows what is after death. we can only imagine. that's the essence of this song, and that explains the last lines:
we don't know what death is ["we're lost"] but we know that's where everyone will end up [" and we're found"].
"We're nothing and nowhere / Forever and ever" - my favorite line. the person imagines death as being some timeless void where one goes to no longer exist. like the song, it sounds like a peaceful place, yet at the same time its really dreary and depressing.
i love this song. it's the saddest TBM song i've ever heard, but listening to it fills me with a bittersweet happiness.
