I agree 100%. This is my favorite song on the album and possibly my favorite TLE song of all time.
I guess it's mostly about respect for each other. When I first heard it I thought the lyric was "God help(s) those who don't help the others" and I thought it was about inequality in religion, ie how many churches like the catholic church have huge sums of money but really just look after themselves, but I don't think that was the intended meaning of the song.
I think it's mostly saying people who only look after themselves won't have anyone else to look after them when they need help, as "what goes around comes around". so we have to make time for each other, especially those who have less rights and those who have greater struggles in their lives.
