yeh I think it is better than white noise, a few of the other tracks on the album are (kid, sum of us, loaded gun) To me since the living end are from australia, this song is about having enough of the hectic and commercialsed life presented in the two major cities in aust--- melbourne and sydney. Its gone downwards, and its all the same no matter how hard it tries to market itself ('i don't care what you've got in store') and for the singer the best thing is to give it all up, pack up and head north to somewhere warmer, say like queensland to have their moment in the sun. The way the song being sung, I'm guessing its a couple that are moving up, but it could be friends, brothers, or 2 forms of consciouness from the same person.
