It is about global warming, pollution etc. The "traffic in the sky" is a reference to airplaines as well as all the other things that are said to be pollutive. The verse is describing the people who claim that all the pollution dont have an effect on the invironment, as they simply say "how could we have known". Other examples, as "Words of wisdom all around" are references to all the knowledge we have about the effect the pollution has on the environment, but people still dont care to do do anything with it.
