I love this song! Lyrics-wise, it seems pretty straight forward - two lovers waiting to be with each other. It might be that one of them is far away or is going through a rough breakup (due to some other past lover messing with them).
However, I love to put a little twist to the interpretation of this song! I know for some lines, it doesn't make exact sense. But still.
I think of it as the one you're meant to be with. How, the two of you are waiting to meet at one point in life. Soppy I know, but I think about it like that sometimes.
