I think that it's about a new relationship, and when it's new you don't know whether or not it's going to last, but either way you know someone's going to get hurt. even if they get married and have kids and grow old together, one day someone's going to die and break the other person's heart, not to mention all of those slip ups that happen because we are human. It's a wonderful way to put it...
