Even though no one's actually hit me, I can really relate to this song. There've been guys who treated me like shit and it was just a vicious cycle of mean-ness all around, but eventually we grew up and got over it. Now I'm really thankful for them because they made me so much stronger as my own person and if any future flame does anything to hurt me, physically or not, I can hold my own and dish it right back twice as strong.
