Cover art for One Reason lyrics by Tea Leaf Green

I get the strong feeling that this song is about an abortion.

"Where we can spit in the wind; Confess all our sins, Before we turn ourselves in." -They're weighing their options

"We're going to pull down the bridge, Just to watch it come tumbling down." -It's such a touchy subject that people feel strongly about

"Confess to doctors not priests, Who you gonna trust or believe?" -The church has its found views on the subject

"We could get that bullet out. There's a man I've been hearin' about. And for a nominal fee, He'll do anything anything we need. Oh yeah, all right " -The bullet being something that could destroy your life, and considering the size of bullets, about the size of a baby embryo, going to an abortion clinic that could take care of the situation "for a nominal fee"

"Before the life leaks out of that hole in your breast" -Before it's too late to have it done

I'd love some feedback and what other people think. I have no idea if I'm right, this is one of my favorite songs by TLG, and it's just the feeling i get from it.
