In response to Prometeo's post:

I couldnt agree more. People typically read song lyrics, and try to decode everything into some symbol or metaphor for a thing going on in pop culture or society. I totally dont have anything against the first poster at all; seems like a smart person. But thats just the kind of response Im reffering to. It just seems over- analytical. I believe this song, like Prometeo said, is just about feeling so so insecure about relationships and whos doing what. Heck, even just insecurity about what the opposite sex thinks of you. Period. But like I said, thats just me, and I could be wrong.

But yeah, as asked by another poster, what DOES Ira say between the third and second strophes? It isnt listed anywhere, and I cant make it out on my own. Its driving me crazy.

I found that between the second and third strophes Ira says "night and day, swingers on the move".
