This song summed my life up over the last 2 months. I found out that my fiance of 4 years had cheated on me over a 3 month period. I didn't see it coming and it knocked me for 6. We had bought a house only 6 months prior and i thought everything was perfect. First verse: I take this song at face value for the last 2 months i go to bed and can't sleep with thoughts of what we, had my dreams for us, and what i am now left with. The pain is so bad it feels like i can't breath, i was just stressing out. With all of these thoughts running through my head i thought i was going crazy like my life was over. It's about despair and not being able to cope with the situation.2nd verse: He's afraid to sleep because during the day you can keep yourself busy but at night you are left alone with your thoughts and dreams which torment you.3rd Verse: For me was contemplating suicide.
