i really want to know what exactly kevin was singing during the last parts of the song. in my opinion this song talks about the things the mind is capable of thinking when loneliness becomes one's constant companion. although it can be a routine sometimes, there's still hope that there can be change somewhere ("you're held down by the sea, oh the number three, but i feel that there could be a lovely community"). plus the last part (the message/recording thing) offered optimism, so i think that's always good. this has got to be my favorite kevin drew song. :]
